Thursday, woke up at 5:45AM. Hospital at 6:30, yay! I was there all alone, and so hungry and sleepy from sleeping through dinner and skipping breakfast, but I lived, and escorted surgery patients with a bright, smiling face. c:
Volunteers then came in droves, there were like 6-7 of us. I went to help the Clinic, and scoured the entire facility for Clinic wheelchairs. I checked every single department, minus the cafeteria and human resources.
I only found one.
It turns out Jim (the wheelchair cleaning man) had like, 6 of them. There you goooo! Haha, shift ended at 10:30AM, took an hour break. 11:30AM, went to Radiology (Diagnostic Imaging) and job shadowed everyone there. Watched a lumbar puncture, pretty neat. Left at 3:30PM, and went home for a 5 minute nap.
Haha, went to physical therapy and met Dawn. She knows what she's doing. C: She scheduled 4 weekly sessions for my ankle after my trip to NYC. Yay!
Home, my Lakers went through a grueling battle with the Celtics in game 7. I proved Alec, Jordan, Jon, and my momma wrong. My Lakers are the 2010 NBA Champions!
I made Jon's rap, but haven't gotten a chance to show it to him. Tried to sing it to my mom, but I was too embarrassed. I get embarrassed just to whisper it, ha.
Played Pool with Alec, he beat me. D:
Ahhh Korea lost 4 - 1. Magnificent.
My feet are tired from my 9 hour hospital shift. My ankles were swollen.
