A Drop In The Ocean: 116

Saturday, July 31, 2010

It's like wishing for rain as I stand in the desert
But I'm holding you closer than most,
'Cause you are my heaven.

8:00AM, 9:23AM, 10:35AM, 11:16AM.

I wish I had someone to make me stay awake. Without an extreme realization that I have to finish annotation now, I can't stay awake. I just end up snoozing again.

I think my body just unconsciously loves the rush of adrenaline that I get from finishing a project right before the deadline. It always still turns out fabulous, but... maybe the affection is conscious, too. Who knows.

Sandwich, violin with Spy Kids 3 in the background. I have no idea what to expect for TDC. Oh boy.

I actually played a lot of violin today.

I remember as a kid, I always imaged Daphne and Fred together, and Velma and Shaggy together. You know, from Scooby Doo.

Sometimes I think sitting on trains
Every stop I get to I'm clocking that game
Everyone's a winner, we're making our fame
Bona fide hustler making my name

I've been oversleeping a lot, hopefully I'll wake up for debate camp, and that'll set my internal clock straight.

Woke up sometime in the afternoon, right before my mother came home. Took another nap, went to Diana's to get stuff and leave stuff. Borrowing Baccano! and Forrest Gump. I put Baccano! first so I wouldn't have to worry about placing a period after an exclamation mark.

Talked about ugly red dresses, books, MPD Psycho, horror in general, ogod nightmares, and Jessie Slaughter. She's a train wreck out on Jupiter.

Home, 4chan didn't live up to my expectations. Staying home tomorrow, watching Baccano! before debate camp? Shure mang.

Getting down to business tomorrow, to defeat the huns.

I mean, the religious whore also known as Pi Patel.

I can show you how to do-si-do
I can show you how to scratch a record
I can take apart the remote control
And I can almost put it back together

5:30AM. Hospital. Talked with Belinda, got next week covered, and my school schedule. Since school starts on Tuesday, the 24th, I'll start working from 5PM-9PM on Mondays, starting on the 23rd. Wooo. Diagnostics, fun, fun.

Dat is mean whenever I'm there, not cool. Matt's phone was mega lame. I suck at TapTap3.

After the hospital, on the road for sponsors. Gatti-land had a separate legal/financial department, and we drove over there, but there was no one in the office. Lame.

Payless; called Corporate. They don't do school sponsorships.

Austin Sports Arena; Tim was out of town, but I talked to the General Manager later on the phone, and he said that he supports it, all we need is confirmation from Tim once he returns.

Called Bush's Chicken, got sponsors. Major franchises are more out of the question in terms of sponsorships, as the major corporate companies support and donate to only specific, national (already established) associations.

Local places is where it's at. I called a lot of other companies; I won't post their names unless I've confirmed a no/yes from them.

Worked on some Life of Pi at Diagnostics. Painting more of my baggerzz.

Not gonna ever own what's mine
When you're always taking sides
But you won't take away my pride

Overslept; 11:00AM. It's raining outside, but bright despite. I finished Sister of My Heart last night, good book. Worked on Life of Pi, then slept another thousand hours. Ramen and Silent Library.

I know.

I'm disgusting.

Damn these are old posts.

Boys: 112

Tuesday, July 27, 2010

Don't mean to impose boy- I'll let you know
You're hearing me sayin' yes,
I'm sayin' no.

Woke up at 7:00PM today, because I went to bed at 3AM last night. Then I started reading Sister of My Heart.

It's totes a good book, I read like 3/4's of it. When I first started reading it, I was 120% sure that they were going to turn out to be lesbians who weren't truly related by blood. I was close. They aren't lesbians, but they're not really related. If I think about it, the plot isn't that great (in my opinion), but I couldn't stop reading it last night, so there's something. I'll probs try to go back to bed in a couple of hours, and finish the book after eating dinner, my only meal for the day.

I'll get all my exercise and such tomorrow morning, where I re-vamp my schedule for the hospital on Thursday.

I have to remember to talk to Belinda about August 5th, where I'll be at TDC, and my schedule once school starts on August 24th. I actually wouldn't mind staying in Diagnostic Imaging, all the free time would be useful for homework.

So much to do, so little time. Laundry for now. Packing on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Horchata: 111

Monday, July 26, 2010

In December, drinkin horchata
I'd look psychotic in a balaclava
Winter's cold is too much to handle
Pincher crabs that pinch at your sandals

Woke up early today, preparing for school in that way.

Shower, Ellen, then stretching. My thunder thighs, AUGH. My tummy is good though, not going to lie.

Decided to be nostalgic, played some violin. I had a hell of a time trying to tune it, hahahaha the G peg wouldn't budge. You have a lot of time to think when you're playing. My fingers still remember the notes for the last song I was playing, that's cute. I seriously considered going back into orchestra, but who knows how long my desire butterfly to play will stick around. Last time it only stayed for about a week. Hrmm, I might just join Orchestra, though. Who knows.

SAT Vocabulary review, fun fun fun.

Getting ready for orthodontist, going to brush my teeth a couple hundred times. Haha, just kidding. Not.

Orthodontist, the intern sucked, and I felt immediate pain afterward from malpractice. Diana bought Sister of My Heart so, I'll just read that. Also, I love Annie Phan.

Diana's house, I printed out all my papers. Yay. I also learned the true meaning behind my English name.

Just when I thought my Korea name ruined me; now I know the truth.

Life sucks, because I missed Adventure Time today. BOTH TIMES. Argh. I missed the foot episode. I want to die. Quizilla has gotten so illiterate!

Wah, wah. I'll upload all my pictures someday.

Get Ready: 110

Sunday, July 25, 2010

I'm bringing you a love that's true
So get ready, get ready
I'm gonna try to make you love me too

Woke up at 3:30PM, what's new? Sundays are FoodNetwork days.

Tomorrow will be a busy day. Wooo. I'm probs going to be antisocial this week to finish all the school stuff.

Klondikeee.

They changed DMT! I dislike the new version. But I'm good at all kinds of DMT, always. Next FoodNetwork Star, love me some Brad and Bobby Flay, of course. (;

Oh hey, Quizilla, long time no see!

Can't Be Tamed: 109

Saturday, July 24, 2010

I can't be tamed, I can't be saved
I can't be blamed, I can't, can't
I can't be tamed, I can't be changed.

Work, and Life of Pi. Slept a lot more than desired, needed, and should've. Cold noodles for lunch, hot noodles for dinner. We went to Dollar Tree to buy a bucket, and left with a lot of other things. That store is so magical, I've never been there before. I went into a Dollar General once, it was lame. Everything wasn't one dollar, it wasn't even cheap. $7.00 at Dollar General? That's lame.

But Dollar Tree had everything for $1.00 or less. I was so much more excited about this concept than I should've been. I looked for discontinued makeup, hoping to find something legendary, like so many others have on MUA, but

my mind wasn't blown by anything there. Unlike Inception, which is apparently blowing minds like Hurricane Katrina. I want to see it, but eh. Movies.

HEB doesn't have heating pads, which is utterly disappointing, considering one could've saved my life two days ago.

Home, working on my sponsors list for Speech & Debate. I'm thinking Gatti-Land, Shipley Do-Nuts, WalMart, Austin Sports Arena, and Payless Shoes. You know, the Payless right behind my house.

I'll get shoes while I play it up, just for the kicks.

Sewed my scrubbie up, I'm such a housewife. Now I just want to sow everything. I think I'ma sew up my skirt now. Heehee.

Skirt = sewn. Fab. Auntie left the lotions here, hrm.

Light Reading: 108

Friday, July 23, 2010

I heard from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend,
you've closed the book on your end.
If you pick up, pull out, does it have to be now?
I tear out those last few pages, less time; more places.

Katherine's house today. I felt bad for making her dad drive me everywhere, so I had momma drop me off on the way to work, which was at like, 6:30AM? I felt super bad for waking her up so earlyyy! Went straight to her bed, and tried to sleep, but we were both too awake to snooze.

We had breakfast of chips. She had these funky ketchup flavored french fries chips! They were amazing. And Veggie Tales fruit snacks. I liked the red ones, and the blue ones. Delish.

We talked for a while, I gave her the NY goodies in a Barnes & Noble's bag I had laying around. "You got me books?!" Haha, silly billy.

We got more snackers and went to the living room to watch some tv. Watched Four Weddings, and we transformed her couch into a bed. We finally took our needed snoozes, slept from 11:00AM-1:30PM, roughly. Feeling refreshed, we ate fruit, and headed to the pool.

It was super humid, but it was nice. After serious talks about birthdays and such, the water became the comforting, warm environment we wanted to be in. The air was cold and unwelcoming. There was a wild bunny hidden in one of the bushes, it was super cute.

Falsies! I hope Katherine likes them, I'm thinking about getting them once I run out of my Lash Blast.

We brought snacks because we're fatties. She had to use the ketchup towel, haha. It was totally fine, no visible ketchup, but this silly girl.

We got back, we made Cherry-Watermelon Kool-Aid! Deliciously artificial. (: It was a bit watery, though. Then we baked Blueberry Muffins, but her Chef of a father sprinkled on sugar, topped with fresh blueberries. Delicious! We creeped on FaceBook, always fun.

Back to Katherine's room, we painted our nails. I had Round 2: Laura Vs. Matte nail polish. I think I won this time, my nails are now fabulously matte. Toenails are pretty and bright Barbie blue.

Dinner! Her dad makes yummy food. We had a Parmesan Tomato Chicken, with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Asparagus. I hate Asparagus. I said it was all good though, and forced Katherine to eat my portion. She ended up making her father eat it, ah me. It was increds delicious besides the stick vegetable of doom. I don't think I've ever appreciated mashed potatoes more.

Watched Grey's Anatomy, and FaceBooked some more. Her dad made us Mixed Berry Smoothies! It was delish, too. I like going to Katherine's house just to eat food, if nothing else. (: Just playin' I lurve hanging out with Katheriners.

Back to her room, we attempted to prettify her Doorstop, with her paints and my expertise, but my Advils from the morning were starting to wear off, and I was in pain something fierce. Cramps are the bane of my life. I was pretty much a party pooper, buzzkill with my pain induced negativity, and lack of enthusiastic assistance. But it was all good. Katherine made a copy of my World History Book list, and she made me a copy of her AP Books list. Fab, I had a Middle School version of one of those last summer, but not this summer.

However, I forgot both the papers and my earbuds while I was getting two Blueberry Muffins for the road.

Laura, you would.

I'll be swinging by and getting those tomorrow morning on the way to work. And this time, I won't be waking Katherine up, since she'll be getting ready for her library orientation.

Showering for the first time with my own bath caddie, more excited than I should.

Get Crazy: 107

Thursday, July 22, 2010

Walk in the club with no ID,
Girls on my jock cause I'm VIP,
Your man can't do what I can do.

Hospital day, I woke up feeling fabulous. Got everything together, and I was totes awake. Hospital, slow day. Worked on Life of Pi. Everything was going swimmingly, but then cramps came in, and murdered me.

So I died.

Couldn't talk to Belinda about switching departments for my second shift, just went home an hour premature of my break. She let me go home early. Momma took a work break and took me home. Home, Advil and MTV. Painnnn so harddd. Advil never took so long to work.

Klondike during commercial breaks morphs into Korean studies during commercial breaks. I would. Why was I made like this?

Disappointed, I wanted my hours! My hospital credits are still messed up and poopy, what the cabbage.

Katherine's tomorrow. Carrying Advil with me. :\ Adventure Time and Teen Mom make my tummy feel better.

I miss Sabrina. ;_____;

Momma's making me some nommy spaghetti. C: SQUIDWARDDDD.

I Like It: 106

Wednesday, July 21, 2010

Baby I like it,
The way you move on the floor.
Baby I like it,
Come on and give me some more.

Wednesday. Woke up late, 12:30PM. Strawberry Ensure. Physical therapy, then library.

I couldn't find Sister of My Heart, getting Diana to hopefully get a copy for me at B&N?

I don't see the hype about If You Really Knew Me. Maybe if they came to Stony Point, I'd understand. Or not.

Uploading pictures onto FaceBook, since I finished labelling them a couple of days ago. Relabelling time. I finished, I'm fabulous.

Life of Pi during the downtime, get it.

Hospital tomorrow.

I Will Follow You Into The Dark: 105

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark.

Tuesday. Overslept, dangit. Made my own noodles, so proud of myself. Had a couple of showdowns with the cricket, but I lost and it got away. Every single time. Drat.

WOO the tv started to randomly work! MTV and Adventure Time! c:

Annie's house, going to Katherine's on Friday.

Went swimming with Annie, her sister, JR, and his cousin, Cody. It was fun, we took pictures with her waterproof camera. Cool stuff. Super special awesome kung fu kick! Only it showed my NY rolls. I HAVE ROLLS FROM NY ASHGI9QWHKSDJGKSD25TG!!11!!

Annie's house, we got some pizza that was omnomlicious. Played ping pong/table tennis while it cooked. (; It was my first time eating Pizza with Bbq sauce. It was good. First time I tried Potato Salad. It was good. Like, Laura ate everything, good. Yum.

Played Mario Kart to burn off the pizza, haha. Back upstairs, it was FIFA time! That game is hella confusing and weird. It is so hard to score a goal, even if there is no opposition because the controls are so confusing! D':

Practice with the USA team, LOL we couldn't score any goals. ;____;

Anh took me home, I got Annie's stuffies. c: She liked it. Momma killed the cricket while I was gone, WOOOP.

Physical therapy tomorrow.

Fly Me To The Moon: 104

Tuesday, July 20, 2010

Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On a-Jupiter and Mars.

MONDAY. I was supposed to go to Annie's house today, but momma had to remind me about my orthodontist appointment, yesterday. Naturally, I was assuming she meant the next following Monday, as in today. So I was like, CRAP IN A BUCKET! :\ There goes my plans to go to Annie's. I reluctantly told her, and rescheduled to Tuesday.
Apparently, my momma is a liar. My orthodontist appointment is on the 26th. Not the 19th. Way to be. But it's okay, we had a problem with our DirecTV, so the dude was supposed to come sometime from 4:00PM-8:00PM.
But they never came.
Then they called and apologized.
Way to be.
I actually worked on Life of Pi today. I got into my groove. But then I got back into Grey's Anatomy. Crap.
A cricket just jumped into the house through the window, and it scared the shiznoodles out of me. Then my mother attacked it with a fly swatter. And missed. It jumped behind my computer desk. Annie then proceeded to attempt to comfort me by continuing our chat. I had to hold my keyboard about 10 feet away from the computer. I had a hard time going to sleep.

The Joker: 103

Monday, July 19, 2010

I'm a joker,
I'm a smoker,
I'm a mid-night toker,
I get my lovin' on the run.

Sunday, woke up at 3:30PM. Fab. Sudoku, caught up on all my bloggers. Walala. I didn't upload any pictures on FaceBook yet.

Life of Pi. Life of Pi, Life of Pi, Ramen, Life of Pi. That's basically been my life, today.

True Beauty, Grey's Anatomy, tv, tv, tv, tvvvvvvvvvv. Sleep.

Factories: 102

Saturday, July 17, 2010

You believe in some kind of harmony,
Keep you still away from factories.

Work, it's been a while. Hot and humid, this is probably why the unusually excessive humidity in New York and Boston never registered. Texas is so ridiculously humid on a regular schedule, that I actually perspired today. I hadn't had any sweat at all in New York, walking in 100 degree weather for hours, because it was so dry.

Anyways, work was work, I actually didn't annotate at all. I just did Sudoku and Klondike and slept all day. I slept on an ugly shirt. My perspiration was on it. Grossness. While opening, I stepped ontop of a nail. It hurt. It bled. Since the nail was rusty, I figured that it'd get infected. I was freaking out, throughout the day, I bled through 4 bandaids. Yuckyyyy.

Home, I'm sweaty and gross. Murdered a bazillion spiders that appeared while I was on my New York escapades. Walgreens; bought about half of aisle 7's back to school basics. Hip hip, hooray! Pens, and legal pads.

Home, sanitizing the wound, hurt. A lot. I had to cut off the rather thick chunk of dead skin caved ontop of the half of the gaping hole. It was yucky, but kind of cool.

Tomorrow, a lot of sleep is happening.

Whenever, Wherever: 101

Friday, July 16, 2010

Whenever, wherever,
We're meant to be together.
I'll be there and you'll be near,
And that's the deal my dear.

Good morning, bright eyes. Overslept, 12:30PM. Got ready for Bibi's party by making her card, and stuff.

Augh I still have to label like 200 photos. And then upload/relabel all 500 of them. AUGH, LIFE.

Bibi's party, it was funsauce. Didn't take as many pictures as I should have, as always. Swimming for pennies equals candy! Cookiecake. C: Got into a cold ice water splashing fight; me and Morgan against Katherine and ?Benta. It was great, except how hot it was, just walking on the tiles was super hot. ): But her backyard is magical, and the hammock, haha Mary. (: "This backyard would be good for murders." Oh, Holly.

Lotsa story telling and bonding going on, Momma was the last parent to arrive to pick me up.

Home, incredibly tired, and my appetite is fading. :\ Maybe my tummy missed NY, too.

Work tomorrow, maybe I'll get some bookwork done...

Dirty Picture: 100

Thursday, July 15, 2010

Tell the world what I believe
But whenever I'm not with you
It's so hard for me to see.

100th post! I'd be more excited if I wasn't so damn exhausted.

Woke up early this morning after sleeping late. Feeling so exhausted, spent my entire break sleeping behind the Scott & White sign where the computers are. DI, I really want to ask Belinda when she returns from her vacation, if I can be moved to another department. It's not like I do/can do anything there.

Mother came late.

Went to Wal-Mart to get KenKen. They didn't have it. I made do with Sudoku.

Bathroom, dropped my phone in the toilet. I suddenly didn't have to pee anymore.

Home, Rookie Blue is pretty good. Scoundrels is just a mess. Grey's Anatomy will always be my love, even though it is incredibly inaccurate in many real life situations of the hospital setting. But it's only to be expected.

Bow of uncooked rice for my phone + battery. I hope it lives.

Sudoku and Life of Pi. I'm so supremely exhausted, I don't even understand. You'd think the post that's number 100 would have a longer/more detailed/more exciting post. Sorry, world.

Man In The Mirror: 99

Wednesday, July 14, 2010

As I, turn up the collar on my,
Favorite winter coat,
This wind is blowin' my mind.

First day back home. Overslept for the first time in a week and a half.

Auntie and Grammy are leaving today, their flight is at 4:45PM. I have my physical therapy today, at 4:00PM, so Diana's momma has to take them to the airport, while I'll be getting physical therapy for my ankle.

Donna was really nice, I might've lost my instructions paper. Shiet.

I cleaned the 'cursed' ring this morning with tooth paste. It's actually really pretty. (: Finishing up on Hell's Kitchen, HIT ME AGAIN, TUBE SOCK!

Plans, plans, plans. I make them. Life of Pi tonight, oh MIT.

Chicken, Wellington, Duck, Beef. c:

SAT Vocab. Called it.

Volunteering tomorrow.

Everything We Had: 98

Tuesday, July 13, 2010

You were the only face I'd ever known.
I was the light from the lamp on the floor,
and only as bright as you wanted me to be.

Woke up at 6:15AM this morning to get ready. Diana and I both left notes for Mimi inside her MacBook, I left a gift partially under the pillow.

Got to the airport by 8:00AM, the check in line was freaking ridiculous, but it was alright. My dress was super cute. Just sayin'.

Going through the security check point was nerve wrecking, because these people were serious business; they actually checked your ID, hah. They were really unfriendly, but I wanted to make it through the security gate, unlike the first time I tried. It worked, only I wasn't sure which way to go afterwards, ha. The guy was slightly nicer than all the other security dudes.

Then they pulled me aside and stopped me. I was nervous that they thought I was an Asian terrorist or something. Then they looked in my bag, and asked me if I had sharp objects in there. I was like, noooo. ;__;

So then they took my lotion. ;______;

Yeah. They jacked my lotion.

Make me cry.

Had a Cheese Danish and Jamba Juice for breakfast, omnomnom.

Got on the plane, Diana had the window seat cause I had it on the way to NY. But then, I guess I have bad luck, or I was just silly expected another perfect flight. There was a storm over Pennsylvania, in the middle of our route, so it was decided that we should stay and wait. The waiting turned out to be over an extra hour and a half of just sitting there.

I finished most of the KenKen book. Auntie just gave it to me, c: yay.

After I got bored with KenKen, having only a couple of puzzles left, I started watching me some Directv. I was watching MTV because it was too early in the morning for Adventure Time, or anything decent on Animal Planet or Food Network.

Everyone always talked about The Hills, but I had never watched it. It was on a marathon of some sort, because the final season's finale was on tonight. I watched soooo many episodes today, it's kind of crazy.

Didn't nap, back to the airport, Diana's mother promptly arrived to pick us up from the airport to the restaurant. I've been so homesick of Diana's poppa's cooking. I got myself my lovely Yakisoba, and California Rolls. Stuffed myself like a pig, then went home. Unpacked, and showed momma my stuff. Brought all my stuff back to my missed room, and put everything where it needs to be.

Caught up a lot on Hell's Kitchen. I might start watching the Office, hmm. c;

Two Is Better Than One: 97

Monday, July 12, 2010

And maybe two is better than one
But there's so much time
To figure out the rest of my life.

Monday, we changed the plans. We decided to go to Korea Town together, instead of leaving the apartment at separate times. Left at 11:30AM, our unlimited week-long metro cards expired last night, so we had to actually use pay per ride cards.

K-Town was a lot smaller than China Town, holy cow. But it was cuter, more expensive, and not as smelly. Although it basically had no places to just shop for clothing, etc. There was one cute Korean store, but everything there was ridiculously overpriced. Oh these Koreans, all they want is money.

Ate lunch at KumGangSan. It is so weird reading and typing Korean stuff in English text, I have to say it outloud to understand what it means. I got the Kalbi box, it was actually pretty good. I was homesick for the first time since the trip. At least it's coming at the end of my trip, haha HOME TOMORROW! I'm going to miss the subways that smell like piss and garbage. I was pretty full by the end, holy cow. Mimi got bitten like, 5 times by one very full mosquito. Diana and Mimi left early to go to Parsons, because the service was terrible, and ridiculously slow.

Auntie and I walked around for a bit, and walked around the Empire State Building. I got some good shots of it, I think. Walked inside, it looks like a very fancy hotel with many escalators. I asked the doorman how many floors there were. He gave me a wink and an answer of 102 floors.

Left, and started the trek from 32nd & Broadway, to 42nd & Broadway. 10 blocks. Not bad for a New Yorker. Serious workout for me, in the cute/uncomfortably big flats, of whom also had all the exhaustion from the past week and a half finally catch up to my feet.

I made it though, a little worse for wear. Holy cow, it was so BUSY! There was so much taxi honking, serious business people walking by, and hurrying in general. It was beautifully modern and technologically enhanced. There were huge screens, that looped series of movie promos, and soft drink advertisements in very exciting ways. Or maybe this Asian hick is just so foreign to this stuff, that she didn't realize. I took a bazillion pictures, but among the hubbub and constant movement, I didn't have time to get a picture of the NYPD blinking headquarters, or have Auntie take a picture of me in Times Square. It was super special awesome though, I saw the place that they record GMA in, and the shot they always show of the huge screen, and the reserved street space for various minishows on GMA that they have for our viewing pleasure.

My momma will be excited to see the pictures. c: Home tomorrow... I've already written that, but it's so much more closer now than it was then... Like an hour closer, hooray for multitasking!

After Times Square, we went to the huge Metro station there, that was like an underground maze. We were heading to 18th, but the express took us to 14th instead, so we had to walk some more. I didn't mind though.

Hannah was totes right, when you look directly up, it looks like the buildings are falling on you, they're so big. We walked to Bed, Bath and Beyond to return the freezer rack that didn't fit into the freezer, ha. Auntie finally said it correctly! Now, my mom's next. Well, I got my mother to say, 'Academy' correctly, so this should work eventually.

After that, we went to Urban Outfitters, because we still had time, since the Parsons Infosession/tour was supposed to be from 2:00PM to 4:00PM, but they finished early at around 3:30PM, so they met us at Urban Outfitters.

I saved a lot on a silk dress. c: And I got some cute heels at Payless on the way to Urban Outfitters. Back to Mimi's apartment. Walked down the subway for the last time, down 7th Avenue for the last time. Walked to American Apparel, but didn't get anything.

I walked into Mimi's apartment for the last time. I'm going to miss this place a lot. Ate some omnomnomlicious Quinoa Salad, and finished off the Olive Oil Gelato, yummy.

I finished packing everything except for the necessities for tomorrow morning, I'm excited. Diana gets the window seat on the way back, since I got it on the way there. I'm wearing the FOREVER21 dress tomorrow, I can't wait to see my mommyyyy. c:

1, 2, Step...Step by step...
踊りませんか可愛い人(ボニータ)、手をとり腰絡ませて1, 2, 3(アン、ドゥ、トロワー)
唇触れそうな距離で不意にささやく言葉は「テ・アモーレ」

Saturdayyyy. SHOPPING DAY!
Again, I took a bleak quantity of pictures, because I was so busy shopping. I love shopping. A lot more than I thought I would.

Morning, left the apartment a little late, and skipped breakfast. So I was the first one to be hungry.

UNIQLO, Pearl River, Necessary Clothing, Mystique Boutique, Yellow Rat Bastard, Forever 21, Jewelry Cafe and other places, back in SoHo!

I got lotsa stuffies for myself, holy cow. Mystique Boutique only had like, 5 dressing rooms, so the line was freaking ridiculous. It was like, 30 minutes from the front. But I was worth it; I got a cute dress.

Necessary Clothing was really big. Like, the clothes. The size, 'Small', was super huge. Like, it fit Diana. Not even snug, like, loose and everything. So I couldn't get any cute clothes there. Sadly. But Diana and I obsessed over their jewelry, they had snake rings for her, Hello Kitty goodies for me.

Jewelry Cafe, a small place made by Koreans, OBV. I got a blue rose ring; the kind I've wanted for the longest time, with a little extra oomph to it. c: Diana got her momma a glass figurine of a turtle, only later that evening, I accidentally broke it. I felt horrible. Really horrible. Like I just killed a puppy, horrible. ): It was so horrific, that the moment to apologize was still pretty far off. But that's for later.

I tried Halal food, I liked it a lot! What a pleasant surprise. Like Thai food. I got Lamb Over Rice, it was yummy, and fatty, and wonderful. After we spent a really long time shopping, we headed to China town to get souvenirs for the family and friends. Although we got loads of Asian goodies at Pearl River.

Pearl River; omga hahaha. I got so many Hello Kitty things, yet restrained myself so much to not get anymore! I'm kind of regretting getting that Hello Kitty mug/saucer combo. It was $12.50. I know. I'm kindof ridiculous. But I got other Hello Kitty goodies, so I'm good. c:

In other news, I got myself a super amazingly cute KIMONO. Diana had to help me try it on; it was ridiculously hard to put on, but insanely cute. It's a silky, light pink color, and it's simply fabulous.

Anyways, CHINA TOWN!
Diana bought a bag for her friend, and I got one with similar print at China town, but apparently, according to Diana, mine was better quality? I don't know, I'm impressed with how much she's spending on her friends though. What a sweetie pie.

Finally got myself a nice, large purse, big enough for school! I felt so accomplished.

On the way back to Mimi's apartment, it started raining. Not drizzling, RAINING. Yeah. We got wet. Really wet. Back at Mimi's she made Quinoa Salad, and Penne with Swiss Chard Ragu, yummy! I've honestly tried a lot of new food for someone as picky as me. And I've honestly, liked it a lot. Maybe this experience in New York will convince me to slightly change my picky eating ways.

Then the turtle accident. Poo. ):

We made Olive Oil Gelato, it was so yummy! The watery bit that I had. c: Watched America's Got Talent to sleep; Mimi and I couldn't believe that the redheaded crazy lady made it to Hollywood! What the butt?! But I think we're both in love with the blue eyed singer, oh that boy.

Sunday, the day of believing.

Woke up early to take a shower; I was still slightly grimy from running in the rain last night, but I was too tired to go and shower then.

Played Klondike and lost. A lot. -$640.00, or so? Yeah.

Vintage shopping today! Excited. Breakfast, finished the Halal Lamb Over Rice, mmm mmm good.

Brooklyn Flea Market. It was full of interesting stuff, it was honestly not that cheap. Lots of expensive trinkets you don't really need. But I got two rings, for $5.00 each. A very pretty gold rose, with a crystal/rhinestone in the center, and a dark, thin ring that looks remotely cursed.

Next, a small vintage clothing shop. I bought a grey, chained top.

Beacon's Closet next, it was huge! My feet honestly started hurting from standing and holding heavy piles of clothes as well as my bag for what seemed like hours. Everything was grouped by color, which made for a pretty display, but not for people of specific size. Most of the stuff was too big. Kimchi Blue, I got a navy top with flowers on it! I love it.

A cute Japanese vintage shop was next, there was a male employee there with light hair as long as mine, wearing leggings, a fabulous hat, and boots. His legs were absurdly skinny as well as long. Holy cow. Was I ever so jealous? Yeah. There was the cutest yellow tube dress there, but it was really expensive, but honestly, it looked really new and modern, anyways. I got food stickers for my buds.

Wanted to go to Buffalo Exchange, but Diana was really tired, and didn't want to go. Her knees hurt, she said. Wow, she's old, haha. Most of the time while Auntie, Mimi, and I went looking for the perfect vintage clothing, Diana just sat down and played Brick Breaker on her BlackBerry.

Back to Mimi's place, we rested and regained HP for about an hour. We talked about our ungrateful side of the family, brattiness, and the upbringing of monsters. I loved it. Diana and Mimi are probably the only cousins that I'll ever like. Not that I honestly know that many of them.

Back to China Town and SoHo, it was decided that almost everyone needed to go back to Pearl River to get more souvenirs. I got a lot more stuff, while using store credit received upon returning the unnecessary Hello Kitty mug/saucer combo, that was $12.50.

I got a lot of cutesy erasers and stuff. I even got Mimi a set of cute penguin magnets. c: Hope she doesn't read this before Tuesday!

Joe's Shanghai, we loitered while waiting, there was an insanely long line. The Pork Soup Buns were so good! I ate about, 5-6. I outate Diana again! Everything was really good, I was the only one who wasn't full after we left. Got a Lychee Green Tea Boba to make up for it.

I love the weather right now, it's perfect.

Hummus, it's yummy. c:

Time to eat Olive Oil Gelato. c:

Friday, Diana is going with Mimi to Pratt, which is a bueno idea, I think. I'm staying here, oversleeping while they do that. Auntie is doing the laundry. While they're there, it's giving me loads of time to just sit here and catch up on my Bloggers. Obviously, Mimi didn't take her laptop with her to Boston.

After they get back, we're going to catch lunch, then go with Auntie to the Metropolitan Museum of Art!

HOLY COW! Cherry Passion tictacs are so delicious. And also, Diana is proud of me.

Chinese for lunch, the beef was tough, the chicken was tender, the beef looked funky monkey.
MUSEUM TIME. I wore my cute but painful flats. It was painful. ;____; More so than I anticipated. We visited Egypt, jumped all over Asia, and ran through Europe. And the gift shop.

It was long and interesting and full of non-flash pictures, but by the premature end, or rather, the middle, Diana's feet as well as mine were in so much pain, it felt like our feet had been sent to the place where Satan's toenails live. It was uncomfortable. To the extreme. To the X-Men extreme. So extreme, it could've been on Animal Planet's MOST X-TREME!

Yeah, it was cool, but it hurt.

I could go into more detail, but I am currently in pain. In the feet area. That sentence was all wrong. But since it hurts, it makes me lazy. Which is totally logical. I'm using MIT's influence to make logically sound statements.

We originally were planning on going to Times Square, or Central Park after the museum, but that was obviously cancelled for obvious reasons. Like that obviously manmade path. That obvious.

I'm totally doing that thing, where you say what you're typing outloud right now, like, no lie. Ordered some omnomnomilicious pizza. Yum.

Waiting for the pizza, while listening to instrumental music. It's much better than the EXTREME wailing outside the apartment.

Mimi's room smells like Mimi.
I never noticed until today. I figured, you know, but I'm not sure what I was going to type here, because my train of thought was stumped by a ridiculous statement/question.

I wonder if Diana and I will make it tomorrow. Actually, no. I know I'll make it. I wonder if Diana will make it tomorrow when we go shopping and walking while shopping tomorrow.

Shopping tomorrow. Can't wait.

I will comment on the taste of the pizza after I eat it.
