Our song is the slamming screen doors,
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When we're on the phone and you talk real slow
'cause it's late and your mama don't know
I feel like time is passing by a lot faster than it actually is, which disappoints me since I love it here so much.
The long walks, the cramped urban-ness, the underground trains, haha. I am such a hick. But I love it here. I'm pretty sure I definitely want to go to college on the east coast, or at least live here afterwards.
Morning, we all got up pretty early. Subway, Chinatown. Got on the Fung Wah bus to Boston. It was pretty empty. I was really awake, so I didn't anticipate sleep, but I guess time still is constant, whether you're busy or not.
I fell asleep for about an hour. Didn't get off at the rest stop. After about 4-5 hours on the bus, we made it to Boston!
Then there was this Asian mafia looking guy, stalking us. Haha, he probably wasn't but he was pretty scary. He looked like he just finished his target, and was going on a new mission or something. Wearing all black in the freak weather? Man. Then, when we got on the Red line train, he was totally following us there too. While waiting for the train to come, I purposefully dragged our group out into the middle, as opposed to the side the creeper was on. When the train came, he got in the same compartment as us, despite the fact that he was in front/closer to another compartment. :L
I was just being hella paranoid, HAHAHAHA. He keep looking at us, too. It was scary. ;______; We stayed on the train for a good, eh. 40 or so minutes? The creeper was on the train the whole time. But he didn't get off when we did, so it's alllll goooooooood. c: My imaginary fears were all dispersed.
HARVARD SQUARE! It was very pretty. Like New York, only less cramped, and much, much cleaner. Oh, Cambridge. We ate at a cute little cafe, which was rampant and full of college kiddos. They all looked really nerdy, not going to lie.
The info session was quite impressive, my worst fears were confirmed when Mimi voiced to reality that the spoiled rich often get accepted. It wasn't like I didn't know this, but it sucked to hear it out loud none the less.
The tour was a drag, I hope the student who gave it to us wasn't paid too much. All she did was repeat all the useless information, and showed us what one could have seen in their own time, in about 5 minutes, stretched out into over an hour. Yeah. The Harvard tour was the only one where I honestly started to not pay attention, and drift off.
Hotel, dumb taxidriver. It was so wonderful. We ordered pizza, then we all watched Law and Order until we all fell asleep. Mimi and I drifted first, at roughly 7-8PM? Hella early.
I woke up at around 10:30PM to wash my face, etc. Back to bed.
